The Lady Evelyn Used Book Fair
will be held Thursday and Friday from 3 p.m.- 9 p.m and  Saturday from 9 a.m.  – 3 p.m. in the main foyer of Lady Evelyn Alternative School, 63 Evelyn Avenue. Donations of used books will be accepted March 24 to April 4.  Please no computer manuals, Reader's Digest, encyclopedia or magazines.

Musica Viva Singers, with special guest Ian Tamblyn, present “Something ‘about this country: Ontario Folk Songs Through the Years, at 7:30 p.m. at Centretown United Church, 507 Bank St., The choir takes a trip through several generations of folk music. The journey begins with traditional ballads arranged by leading Canadian composers Ruth Watson Henderson and Stephen Chatman and concludes with modern folk gems from the likes of Gordon Lightfoot, Bruce Cockburn, Eleanor Daley and, of course, Ian Tamblyn.  Reception to follow. Glebe Little League is inviting parent to sign up their son or daughter up for recreational baseball this spring. The league offers spring house league (May and June) and summer competitive (July and August) programs for boys and girls aged 5 through 18 years. The league serves residents of the Glebe, Centretown, Lowertown, Old Ottawa South, Old Ottawa East, Sandy Hill, Vanier, Rockliffe and Gloucester.
